It works like this: The gym is open from 5:30 am to 10:00 am and 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. When you walk through the door I will introduce you to everyone, discuss your health history, ask about joint concerns, the type of exercise that has worked for you in the past or how you like to be active. I will then have you warm up before I walk you through of the day’s circuit. Every circuit is designed to be a full body workout and last up to one hour including warm up and cool down. You can choose to complete the circuit one to three times per visit. Once you have completed the walk-through of the circuit and warm up, you will jump in starting with any of the approximate 16 exercises. Each exercise has 40 seconds of work and 15 seconds to move to the next exercise. You can choose to utilize your 40 seconds by working quick and full-out for the 40 seconds or use 10 to 15 seconds to rest before you move to the next exercise. I will be in the room to help with modifications and form.
Kettlebells, medicine balls, stability balls, balance trainers, suspension trainers, elastic bands and free weights are just some of the equipment used in our circuits.
